Timothy Weaver article accepted for publication

Timothy Weaver’s article, “Reptilian Litigation: A Guide to the So-Called Plaintiff’s Revolution,” has been accepted for publication in the Wisconsin Civil Trial Journal, Winter 2013-14 edition. The article explains trial and discovery techniques for the defense to combat the efforts of the plaintiff’s bar to appeal to the primitive parts of the brains of jurors, and their need to protect their genes, as a way of circumventing the prohibition against using the Golden Rule in court. Plaintiffs are also attempting to use this strategy to argue for exemplary/punitive damages in ordinary negligence cases. Mr. Weaver’s article explains this new plaintiff technique, the dangers posed by it, and how the defense can defeat such efforts to avoid the rules of evidence.
