Attorney Bio

Ryan is an associate attorney with Pretzel & Stouffer, where he focuses his practice primarily on medical malpractice defense and commercial litigation. He also has experience litigating in a variety of other practice areas including nursing home malpractice, employment discrimination, civil rights litigation, construction litigation, insurance coverage, and class action lawsuits, to name a few.

Ryan graduated magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School in 2012. While at Notre Dame, he focused his study on a wide range of legal disciplines, including a variety of litigation, transactional, and regulatory topics. He was also on the editorial staff of the Journal of Legislation and served as President of the Business Law Forum. As a third year law student, Ryan participated in Notre Dame Law School’s Community Development Clinic, in which he advised small local businesses and non-profit organizations on myriad formation, regulatory, and corporate governance matters.

Prior to attending law school, Ryan studied accounting and international business at Indiana University’s prestigious Kelley School of Business. He graduated with distinction and honors in business.

In his free time, Ryan’s recreational interests include biking, rock climbing, and tennis.
