Attorney Bio

Shauna is a partner attorney at Pretzel & Stouffer, Chartered, where she focuses on civil defense litigation, including medical malpractice and products and premises liability.

She received a bachelor’s degree in political science and communications from the University of Wisconsin– Madison. Before attending law school, Shauna worked at a defense litigation firm, where she participated as a member of a successful trial litigation team for an international car manufacturer. This opportunity provided her with trial preparation experience and inspired her passion for representing clients’ best interests.

Shauna earned her law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. While at Loyola, she was named a dean’s scholar, achieved her certificate in trial advocacy, served on the executive board of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity and studied international law at Loyola’s Rome Center. Shauna also was a judicial extern to Cook County Circuit Court judges William D. Maddux and Edward R. Burr. During law school, she gained valuable knowledge and litigation experience working at prominent defense and plaintiff’s firms that specialized in medical malpractice and products and premises liability.
