Overview
Jennifer’s zealous advocacy ensures that her clients receive the best representation possible. Her emerging practice encompasses medical and professional malpractice, general tort defense, premises liability, and commercial litigation. As an associate, Jennifer’s primary responsibilities include leading and defending depositions, conducting legal research, drafting dispositive motions, and advocating for her clients at trial. Jennifer’s work with the firm began in 2022 during her Summer Associateship.
Jennifer graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia and the Honors College with Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Philosophy and Political Science. While at Mizzou, Jennifer was elected Student Body President and represented over 26,000 undergraduate students.
Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School, where she served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation and worked with the Notre Dame Exoneration Justice Clinic. In her last semester, Jennifer served as a judicial law clerk for Presiding Judge Erica L. Reddick at the George N. Leighton Criminal Court in Chicago. Following this clerkship, Jennifer represented clients in court as a 711-licensed student attorney with the Law Office of the Cook County Public Defender – Felony Division.
During law school, Jennifer received Faculty Awards for Excellence in the following courses: Legal Research, Professional Responsibility, Family Law, and Intensive Trial Advocacy. Additionally, upon graduation, Jennifer was the recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for “distinguished achievement in the art of advocacy.”
