Sean C. Maloney

Sean is a driven and goal-oriented attorney. He is focused on providing excellent work product and achieving favorable outcomes for his clients. Sean is driven by the trust that clients place in him to advocate on their behalf. Sean’s work with the firm began in 2023 during his Summer Associateship.

Sean graduated from Purdue University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in General Management and a minor in Philosophy. Sean then earned his Juris Doctor cum laude and Certificate in Business Law from the DePaul University College of Law.

During law school, Sean was a member of the DePaul Law Review and worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Sandra G. Ramos and Honorable Judge Janet A. Brosnahan in the Circuit Court of Cook County Law Division, and with the Honorable Judge John. R. Blakey in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois where he learned numerous different ways to advocate for clients in the courtroom.

Sean earned four CALI Awards for achieving the highest grade in several courses including: Legal Analysis, Research, and Communication (LARC) I and III; Legal Drafting – in Civil Litigation; and Negotiations.   

Prior to moving to Chicago, Sean grew up in the southwest suburbs where he returns often to visit friends and family. In his free time, Sean enjoys running on the lakefront trail and playing basketball.
