Luzynczyk, Henry, and Eckler speak at Trial Academy

Sommer Luzynczyk, Brian Henry, and Donald Eckler served as faculty members and speakers at the 2020 North Central Region Trial Academy and Virtual Trial Tactics sponsored by the Illinois Defense Counsel, Wisconsin Defense Counsel, and Defense Trial Counsel Of Indiana. The biennial program is designed to give attorneys with limited trial experience an opportunity to obtain intensive practice experience in the skills and techniques of trying a case both in-person and virtually.

Sommer presented on the topic of Objections During Trial & Mistrial. Sommer presently serves as Vice-Chair of the Trial Academy and the Deposition Academy.

Brian gave presentations on direct examinations of a treating physician and an expert. He is also group leader who instructed 4 attendees in break-out session. This is the 26th time he has been a faculty member for the IDC Trial Academy.

Pat will gave a presentation later today on technology at trial drawing on his experience in the spring of trying the first virtual bench trial in Cook County.
